May peace, blessings, and mercy of God be upon you all. In 2017, we purchased a mosque with a total area of 150 square meters. However, as our community has grown, the current mosque can now only accommodate a third of our faithful, and women are unable to join the prayers. Additionally, we use the mosque to teach Muslim children four days a week, but this leaves little room for both prayer and education to happen simultaneously.

A Temporary Solution

As a temporary solution, we've had to request the city municipality to allow us to hold the Eid and Tarawih prayers during Ramadan in one of the sports pavilions. Moreover, to alleviate overcrowding, we've sent 90 children to study in different locations.

A Vision for the Future

Now, we are looking for a permanent solution that will benefit future generations. Our goal is to purchase a new, spacious mosque that can accommodate all the faithful and support various activities. We have reached an agreement with the owners of a two-story building covering a total area of 1200 square meters. The price is 280,000 euros, of which we have already paid 50,000 euros, and we plan to pay the rest over the next five years.

Through this new mosque, we aim to strengthen Muslim youth and instill the values of the Islamic religion in them, so they become a distinguished and righteous generation adhering to the teachings of their faith while preserving their beliefs and culture.

In this endeavor, we follow the words of the Almighty: "Cooperate in righteousness and piety" and the words of the Holy Prophet, peace and prayers of God be upon him: "Whoever builds a mosque, God will build for him a house in Paradise."
