I have requested your help to assist the sister of a friend of my mother. Her name is Zakiya, she lives in Taourir (Oujda) in Morocco, and she is a mother of a 9-year-old girl.

Some time ago, she started experiencing abnormal growth in the throat area. She went to the hospital, and initially, the doctors indicated that with medication, the thyroid problem would not develop into a tumor, and so far they have been assuming the costs despite her economic condition.

Recently, as you can see in the photo, the size in the throat has increased with intense pain and pus secretion from the mouth and nose. Now she is facing a race against time as she needs emergency surgery to stop it before it can spread.

We have helped as much as we could, but it has not been enough. We ask for your help as this is our last hope. If anyone wants to do a great deed in this blessed Ramadan, this is a great opportunity. The Quran reminds us of the importance of charity in the life of a Muslim: And those who believe and do righteous deeds will have their reward with their Lord. And no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve. (Quran 29:58)
