Dear brothers and sisters in Islam,

We address you with heavy hearts due to the critical condition of our sister Nora, a courageous mother who left everything behind to offer a dignified future to her 10-year-old daughter and help her parents, escaping the poverty they endured in their home country.

Trusting in Allah ﷻ and seeking halal sustenance, she emigrated to Spain. But destiny, as decreed by our Lord, brought her a great test. In February 2025, she began experiencing intense uterine and muscular pain, along with other concerning symptoms. After several medical tests, she was diagnosed with advanced cancer that had already spread aggressively without her knowledge.

After her tireless struggle and hospital care, doctors concluded there was nothing more they could do. She was discharged to receive palliative care until Allah ﷻ decides to call her back to Him.

Faced with this situation, Nora decided to return to Morocco through the voluntary return program. Thanks to the generosity of sisters and muhsinīn, the tickets for her and her companion were covered. May Allah reward them generously.

Now in Morocco, Nora is facing great difficulties. She received medication for one month, but once exhausted, she cannot afford further treatment, as medicine and medical care are extremely expensive in Morocco.

What does our sister need?

  • Ongoing medical assistance
  • Painkillers and medication
  • Diapers and hygiene products
  • Orthopedic bed
  • Creams for burns and bedsores
  • A wheelchair to attend medical checkups and enjoy some fresh air
The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever guides to good will have a reward like the one who does it" (Muslim).

Dear Ummah, let us extend our hands in support. Every euro counts. Every prayer matters. Let us not leave our sister alone in her final days. Let us reflect the beauty of Islam through our actions.
