Update on 04/14/2022: Assalamu alaikom brothers and sisters! Inform you that alhamdulilah, on April 4, 2022 we have been able to start the works for the reform and expansion of the nave to adapt it as a center for culture and Islamic studies. Alhamdulilah! This week we have had to pay €60,500 in advance for the work on the site, and soon we will have many more bills to pay. We do not have enough revenue to meet all the expenses, so we hope that with everyone's help, we can meet them and insha'Allah soon be able to benefit from this center. JazakumuAllah. ----------------------------------------- From the Annour Islamic Community of Sant Celoni we are collecting donations for the construction of an Islamic Cultural Center in Sant Celoni, with the aim of making it a center of worship, education and community cohesion. Currently in this town we have a small rented place where the 5 daily prayers are held, however, due to its limited capacity we do not have a place for women or to offer training. But this is about to change, bi idni Allah! After 2 years of having bought a place and many paperwork, we have finally been granted permission to reform the place, and therefore the construction of our cultural center. Leave your grain of sand in our Islamic Cultural Center A cultural center, with a budget of €584,266.59, which will have a spacious oratory on the ground floor for men. For women, who until now had nowhere to pray, there will be another space at the top. In addition, on this same floor, the upper one, we will also have classrooms to carry out the different educational actions that may arise, a large kitchen to be used in festivities and much more, inshAllah. We are happy just to tell, alhamdulilah! Because there are several hadiths that quote the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) as saying: "Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allaah, Allaah will build him a house in paradise." [Muslim] How wonderful, right? That is why we encourage everyone who wants and can to participate in this great khair, this Sadaqah Jariyah, which will lay the foundation for your own spiritual rewards in this life and the next. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "When a person dies, all his deeds end except three: continuous charity (sadaqah jariyah), beneficial knowledge, and a son praying for his parents." [Muslim] And you, do you dare to be part of this khair? Jazakumu Allahu Khairan.
