In Spain, more than one million people depend every month on a food bank to be able to eat.

Behind that number are neighbors, children going to school on an empty stomach, elderly people choosing between medication and dinner, and working families struggling to make ends meet.

They are not far away: they are in our neighborhood, in our building, in the supermarket line right in front of us.

That is why, through the Umnia association, we launched this campaign to raise €2,500 for the Spanish Federation of Food Banks (FESBAL).

Without asking where they come from, what they believe, or how they got here. They only ask: are you hungry?

What will we do with your donation?

Every euro donated to FESBAL multiplies. Thanks to agreements with producers, supermarkets, and their network of volunteers, €1 can become up to 5 kilos of food reaching soup kitchens, community organizations, and vulnerable families.

With €2,500, we can help put food on the table for hundreds of households.

Why we ask you to participate

““A believer is not one who eats while his neighbor is hungry.” Prophet Muhammad ﷺ”

It doesn’t matter the faith, origin, or financial situation of those around us: feeding someone in need is one of the purest ways to restore dignity.

Sadaqah, the charity that comes from the heart expecting nothing in return, finds here a clear, useful, and close purpose.

Donating is not giving what you have left. It is recognizing that what you have can also belong to someone else.

How to help

  • Donate: €1, €5, €20, €100… everything adds up, nothing is too small.
  • Dua / good intention: also counts for those receiving this help. 🤲

You don’t need to be rich to be generous.

We need to remember that what we eat today could be missing tomorrow, and that no one should sit at an empty table.

Help us reach €2,500.
