In the name of Allah (peace be upon him), the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. Our ummah has always been characterized by mercy and mutual support. Today, we come to you seeking support for a family of seven facing an extremely difficult situation. The mother and two of her children are deaf, which makes access to education very challenging. In Morocco, they have not been accepted into public schools and need to attend a special school where they can learn and develop like any other child. Furthermore, one of the children suffers from epilepsy and is currently in a fragile state of health. He has tonsillitis and a chest full of mucus, which is severely affecting his breathing. Doctors have indicated that he needs surgery as soon as possible. The family lacks the necessary resources to afford it. In addition to medical and food expenses, there are travel costs, as they live in a remote village and must travel to receive medical care. Despite all these difficulties, this family continues to persevere with patience and faith. They currently live in a shack, in very precarious conditions, trying to protect their children and make a life of dignity. “Whoever alleviates the hardship of a believer in this world, Allah will alleviate their hardship on the Day of Judgment.” — Hadith narrated by Muslim. Today we have the opportunity to be part of that mercy. We ask all brothers and sisters who can contribute sadaqah, even if it is a small amount. Every bit of help can be a means for these children to receive medical care, a proper education, and a more dignified life. May Allah reward everyone who helps in these last ten days of Ramadan, multiply their sadaqah, and make it a light on the Day of Judgment. Jazakum Allahu khayran.
