Hello, I am AREN. I was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Antrophy Type 1 (SMA 1). I am the only child in my family. My parents had a difficult process with IVF treatment and in the end I was born. Everything was normal until I was 4 months old. The disease first showed its symptoms when I was living a happy life with my family. Then they took me to the doctor because I could not hold my head upright and my movements were restricted. In March I will be 2 years old in sha Allah. My illness affects all the muscles in my body; I cannot breathe, eat, move ... My illness is not incurable because there are babies who feel better after taking medication and the right treatment. The name of this drug is ZOLGENSMA which is FDA certified.

This medication should be given until the age of three or up to a certain body weight for it to be cured. I know that I will be a healthy baby in sha Allah if I have the opportunity to seek treatment in the US and take this drug. I feel so tired because I can't breathe easily and I can't sleep at night. I don't want to get hurt again when my mom tries to open my windpipe. I got to know the painful side of life very early on, but I want to have pleasant days with Allah and your help.

SMA 1 (spinal muscular atrophy) is a genetic condition that affects all muscles in the body. This disease is one of the leading causes of death in children in the world.

ZOLGENSMA's drug costs $ 2.4 million with additional costs. It is impossible for my family to raise this money.

Every donation you make will reconnect me to life in this difficult process. We will forward your donations directly to the hospital.

I, the organizer of the collection for Europe, would like to point out that Aren comes from my area in Turkey and the family is known to us. It has also been collected in parallel on another platform for a long time. I would like to use this opportunity and try to achieve something here. There are also events for Aren in Turkey to collect donations. How much has been achieved and what his condition is like is regularly updated on his social media accounts.

Note: I have to mention here that if Aren doesn't make it, the donated money will, as usual, go to another child who has the same illness.

وعن ابن عمرَ رضي اللَّهُ عنهما أَن رسولَ اللَّه صَلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم قال: «المسلمُ أَخــو اِاُهُم. ومن كان في حاجة أخيه كان الله في حاجته, ومن فرج عن مسلم كربة فرج الله عنه بها كربة من كرب يوم القيامة, ومن ستر مسلما ستره الله يوم القيامة "متفق عليه.

Ibn ʿUmar - Allah be pleased with both of them - narrated that the Messenger of Allah - Allah bless him and give him salvation - said: “A Muslim is the brother of every Muslim: He should not oppress him and not hand him over to his enemy. Whoever helps his brother, Allah will help him. And whoever helps a Muslim to remove his worries, Allah will help him with his worries on the Day of Judgment. Likewise, on the day of judgment, Allah will hide his faults from anyone who covers up the weaknesses of another Muslim. " (Narrated by al-Buẖārī and Muslim)
