Hazem Suleiman is a journalist and photographer from Palestine. He is 26 years old and in 2018 he was injured while reporting the war, hit by two bullets and internationally prohibited explosives.

For three years, he underwent more than 30 operations between Gaza and Egypt, including many amputations one after another, but all failed. The explosive substance caused the appearance of bacteria in his feet and caries in the femur. Although his case was presented to many foreign delegations, they did not find a solution. The only option is an advanced prosthesis.

Since October 7, his situation has worsened further. In addition to performing exceptional work as a journalist reporting the genocide, Hazem has been an activist since the beginning of the conflict in Gaza, providing humanitarian aid from his own association of para-cyclist athletes.

Currently, he has been displaced more than four times in less than 40 days and his health condition worsens every day. He still has bacteria in his leg and needs urgent treatment.

This fundraising is organized by a group of women activists who have collaborated with his humanitarian aid initiative throughout this conflict. We are raising money to ease his burden and allow him to leave Gaza as soon as possible and access his treatment.
