A salam u aleikum, I am Firdaus Benomar El Isafi, in collaboration with the NGO Umnia and the Souqya foundation in Morocco, we launched this campaign to dig a well in Morocco.

"The best form of charity is to give water." (Prophet Mohammad (ﷺ), narrated by Ibn Majah).

The cost of the project is between €8,000-10,000 per well, depending on the depth necessary to find the water, this cost covers the water probes, the light pumps, the excavator, the solar panels and the hands of the workers.

A water station with taps

The well will be built to manage water in the houses, by that I mean that they will have water in their homes like any of us, with taps at home as you can see in the two images that I have attached.

The well will be made in the Al-Hawz area near Marrakech.

The PROPHET ﷺ said: "When a person dies, all his acts end except three: Continuous charity (sadaqah jariyah), beneficial knowledge and a son who prays for his parents." [Muslim]

Brothers, sisters, in this sacred month, we invite you to participate by contributing your grain of sand, a Sadaqah that will open doors for us in this life and in the next.

The NGO Umnia will be in charge of the entire process until the opening of the well. Once released, the result will be shared Inshallah.
