Dear community, Oumaima El Oualadi, a young woman from Larache, Morocco, is facing a difficult trial. She suffers from otospongiosis, a disease that causes progressive hearing loss. Support Oumaima in this difficult time. Her left ear is severely damaged, and doctors have told her she urgently needs surgery to avoid complete hearing loss. The procedure costs €1,500 per ear. Although she needs treatment for both ears, saving her left ear is the priority. Despite working in a hammam to support herself, this environment—full of heat and noise—exacerbates her condition.
