Ali's Story
Ali is a 58-year-old man, married, who lives in the city of Jerada (Morocco) with his small family.
One day, while leaving his home to buy some things at the market, he had an accident that caused a fracture in his shoulder and other injuries. In addition, he began to feel severe pain in his eye.
When he went to the doctor, he was diagnosed with an eye disease that required urgent surgery. Ali tried to gather the money with the help of his family and, with great effort, managed to reach the amount needed for the operation.
Unfortunately, the intervention did not go well and he now needs to undergo a second surgery, as he currently cannot open his eye, as shown in the published photos.
He now needs more medical tests, X-rays and scans. These procedures are very expensive in Morocco and Ali can no longer afford all these costs.
Fundraising Goal
The funds raised will help cover the medical expenses necessary for Ali to continue his treatment:
- The second eye surgery he urgently needs.
- Medical tests and specialist consultations.
- X-rays and scans required for diagnosis.
- Treatments and post-surgery medical follow-up.
Ali was the only one working to support his family, who live with very limited resources. At this moment, he simply asks for help to recover the vision in his eye and be able to work again to support his family.
