Younes is a 42-year-old man, originally from the city of Larache. He is a former elite athlete and Taekwondo champion in Morocco in various categories , until he was diagnosed with Spondyloarthrosis, a degenerative disease that, in his case, affects the cartilage on the right side of his hip.

A champion who deserves to be supported

This illness cost him his job as a baker, and caused the separation of his wife and daughter.

Currently, Younes lives with his sister and brother-in-law since his parents passed away years ago. Apart from another brother who lives outside of Larache, he has no one else.

Younes needs hip surgery as soon as possible since the disease is in an advanced stage that prevents him from moving, so he has to use crutches. This operation has a cost of €6,000, an amount that, given their economic condition and that of their family, they cannot cover.
