In 1990 a small mosque was inaugurated in Badalona called Bilal, it was one of the first in Catalonia due to its small space and the great demand of the community we were forced to buy a premises of about 400m2 upstairs and another 400m2 ground floor to replace the small mosque with a larger one, in which women can pray on the first floor and men on the ground floor so religious acts can be carried out more comfortably, and both women and men from the entire community can attend and not be forced to limit the number of people who want to attend. We come to you at the ummah of Muhamad Aleyhi salatu wa salam for your help, the owner of the premises has given us a short period of time to be able to finish paying him, we have managed to pay him € 210,000 in the first year when he could travel and collect for everywhere Al HamduLilah but we have € 150,000 left, the following year the pandemic arrived and stopped all our trips and outings that we made to raise funds, the only solution we have left is online. Last year we ran a campaign on IslamicFundraising in which we raised € 12,000 to help pay the bills for the current mosque, about € 2,000 and about € 10,000 went to the new mosque, and we hope inshallah will help us this year as well. that we can pay the pending part. Let's not forget that this is a sadaqa jariya that will benefit us even after we die. The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "When a man dies, all his good works come to an end except three: lasting charity (mosques, wells etc ...), beneficial knowledge and a righteous son who prays for him. " Narrated by Muslim, 3084. Help us to make this place, a place of worship, the home of Allah swt.
