The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“A Muslim is the brother of another Muslim. He neither wrongs him nor leaves him without help. Whoever fulfills the needs of his brother, Allah will fulfill his needs. Whoever relieves his brother of hardship, Allah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. And whoever protects a Muslim, Allah will protect him on that Day.” (Bukhari & Muslim)
We are three young men living in very difficult conditions at our school. Two of us rely on a rear-wheel moped to get around. We live in a house next to the school where even the simplest tasks are a challenge.
The end of the month is near, and we do not have the means to cover our most basic needs. Yet, our hearts remain full of faith and determination. We love what we do, and we trust that our Muslim brothers and sisters will stand with us through this trial.
