My name is Andrea, I am a Muslim sister who embraced Islam 13 years ago. I am from Alicante, Spain, and I have a 10-year-old daughter named Sara who has a 33% disability. Since my conversion, I have faced many difficult trials, but I have always trusted in Allah's mercy.

Over the years, we have lived through extreme situations: domestic violence, abandonment, mistreatment by family members, and episodes where my daughter and I were left homeless. Recently, I was diagnosed with colon cancer, as well as anemia and recurring episodes of unconsciousness. We currently live in unsanitary conditions in a ruined house in the Basque Country, without electricity or water, and the state is threatening to take my daughter Sara away if we cannot secure a decent home.

My husband Mohamed, although a kind-hearted man, does not have legal papers and finds it very difficult to find a job. Despite our difficulties, we continue to place our trust in Allah, but we need the help of our beloved Ummah to move forward.
