Salam u 3alaikom, Fatima Zohra is my grandmother's neighbor in the Mtafi neighborhood of Tangier. She has suffered from cerebral palsy since birth and hasn't been able to leave her house for years. The Mtafi neighborhood has many slopes and stairs, so her parents can't carry her or lift her because they don't have a wheelchair or a stroller. She feels and perceives everything that happens around her, and it pains her not to be able to enjoy the daylight or take a simple walk... something we all do. Alhamdulillah, we have the freedom, health, and blessing of being able to move around and not depend on anyone. Fatima Zohra's family is poor and cannot cover the medical expenses, the electric wheelchair, the shower chair, or the transport of these products, which will arrive from Spain. I am trying to raise funds to give Fatima the right to move, to have more independence, to be happy, and to be able to go outside, enjoying life and no longer being locked up.
