As-Salamu Alaykum to all,

Let me share with you the story of a brave brother who needs our help here in Madrid, Spain. This brother underwent heart surgery on October 12, and although he has made progress in his recovery, he still faces significant challenges. His legal situation prevents him from working and accessing the help that would normally be available.

A Daily Struggle

Right now, the situation is urgent. We need to raise €400 each month to cover the expensive medications that are essential for your health. Until now, I have been the only person who has been supporting him through this difficult journey, but I cannot maintain this level of support on my own.

Hope on the Horizon

We have scheduled a meeting with a caseworker on November 22, 2023, in the hope of receiving some help from the relevant institutions. However, until that time comes, it is essential that my brother continue taking his medications to maintain his health and well-being.

A Critical Moment

The situation reached its critical point when, due to lack of funds, he was left without medication for a few days and fainted. It was necessary to call an ambulance to treat him at home, where he lives alone with a family who had offered him their help as an act of kindness.
