Everyday life between poverty and a lack of prospects: The market in the center of Nablus is surprisingly busy. At first glance, this is a completely normal market, as you can find it anywhere in the world. But the impression is deceptive. Dealers offer everything your heart desires here. But hardly anyone buys anything. The Palestinian territories are suffering unprecedented hardship.

We want to make at least 100 families happy with a food package.

The reasons are decades of occupation, the arbitrary closure of certain areas, the paternalism of Israel, etc. All of these are reasons that have led to basic poverty among the people. There is hardly any work and hardly any income. But then Corona came and made the situation worse. Many who had worked until then lost their jobs due to Corona.

Most of the time, these families are not even able to pay for basic needs.

We want to make at least 100 families happy with a food package. In this package you will find rice, flour, oil, vegetables, meat, etc. An additional family will be happy for each additional food package.
