Campaign: Dignified Homes for Families Affected by the Chaouen Floods

During the blessed month of Ramadan, a time of mercy, generosity, and solidarity, we remember the importance of supporting those most in need.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

"Allah helps the servant as long as the servant helps his brother."
(Hadith reported by Muslim)

Today, dozens of families in Chaouen, northern Morocco, have lost their homes due to recent floods. Many are living in very difficult conditions, without a safe shelter for their children.

In response to this urgent situation, Nibras Foundation and Umnia NGO have launched a humanitarian project to provide 40 temporary modular homes for families who have lost everything.

The project is carried out in coordination with and approved by local authorities to ensure aid reaches the affected families effectively and that installation is organized and safe.

These modular homes provide safe shelter, thermal and sound insulation, sturdy metal structure, and basic electrical, sanitary, and kitchen facilities to allow families to live with dignity until they rebuild their lives.

The total cost of the project is €120,000 to build and install the 40 homes.

Thanks to the initial support of generous donors, €40,000 has already been raised.

We still need €80,000 to complete the project and ensure all 40 families have a new home.

Every contribution, big or small, can bring security, dignity, and hope back to these families.
