The blessed month of Ramadan has a special vibe making it a different time that gives Muslims this distinctive feeling of spirituality and holiness. However, a lot of our Moslem brothers and sisters are poor, and vulnerable, many have survived wars and conflicts, and many others were affected by the earthquake in Syria and Turkey, and The worst are those who became displaced and are living in catastrophic conditions in tents that don’t provide the minimum decent life needs. This is in fact the reality in North Syria, Yemen, Palestine, and Lebanon.

Thus, a lot of Muslims who should celebrate the coming of Ramadan and live the wonderful feelings of spirituality and occupy their times with worshiping, and then celebrate the Eid are busy and worried thinking about how to provide for their families. They are worried about their next meal, how about one whole month. They also consider the coming of Eid and how these very poor families can pass this time happily as they should.

Considering all these conditions Hayat Yolu has established its Annual Ramadan Campaign which comes this year in its 9th version. It aims at alleviating the burdens of Muslims in the holy month of Ramadan and passing the Eid easily and happily.

This campaign involved implementing different activities include the following:

  • Distribution of food parcels, vegetables, bread and drinking water.
  • Providing hot meals and conducting collective Iftars
  • Delivering cooking gas bottles
  • Distribution of Eid clothes and gifts to children
  • Distribution of Zakat Money

In what remained of Ramadan we wish can:

  • Bring happiness to the hearts of the little ones by providing them with Eid clothes and Eid gifts.
  • Help the poor solve their problems and allow them to live the Eid happiness properly by giving them zakat money.
