The story of Douae

Many of you may know Douae, a 12-year-old girl who lives in Morocco and suffers from hydrocephalus (accumulation of fluid within the deep cavities -ventricles- of the brain). She lives with her mother, younger brother, and maternal grandfather and grandmother.

Douae is undergoing treatment at the Mohammed VI Hospital Center in Oujda and also undergoes check-ups at the hospital near her home.

Request for help for the family

Her family is asking for help to be able to pay all the treatment expenses and also to be able to survive by paying the rent so that they don't end up on the street.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever helps his brother, Allah will help him; whoever relieves his brother of some distress, Allah will relieve him of some of his distress on the Day of Resurrection [...]." (Reported by Muslim)
