Assalamo alaykom dear brothers and sisters,

This campaign is for raising funds for Ouissam El Ajjouri, a child of only 4 years old, born in 2020 in Akdil (Tetouan, Morocco), who is bravely fighting a serious congenital neurological disorder: mega corpus callosum syndrome with cerebellar hypoplasia and cortical malformations.

This rare disorder affects the development of his brain, causing motor and cognitive delays, respiratory difficulties, epileptic seizures, and severe coordination problems.

Recently, Ouissam was in a critical condition, remaining in a coma for seven days. Upon regaining consciousness, he was unable to breathe on his own and had to be connected to a ventilator. His condition remains extremely fragile: upon waking, he suffers respiratory crises that lead him back into a coma.

The cost of treatment to keep him alive amounts to €3,700 per week, a sum that is impossible for his family to afford.

Ouissam is fatherless and lives only with his mother, who has no job or stable income. The family’s financial and emotional situation is devastating.
