Water is the best form of charity

Created 22 September 2026 | Wells

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said in an authentic hadith:

“Allah bestows His mercy upon those who are merciful to people. Be merciful to those on earth, and you will receive the mercy of the One who is above the heavens.”

With the help of Allah ﷻ, we have been able to build more than 50 wells in areas of great need in Togo, and we do not want to stop there.

This campaign aims, in sha Allah, to raise funds to build another hand-dug well and thereby make access to water easier for the people of an entire village.

Two water wells

Well specifications:

  • Manual drilling.
  • 10–30 metres deep.
  • Crossed water source.
  • Double filtration system.
  • Water supply for up to 1,000 people per day.
  • Water trough for animals.
  • Protective cover.
  • Prior assessment of the area and water.

Why build water wells?

To leave a lasting legacy in the Dunya and gain the great reward that comes from providing water to those who need it.

Our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

“The best form of charity is giving water.”

Narrated by Ibn Majah.

Make a donation, either for yourself or on behalf of a loved one.

May Allah ﷻ put barakah in your rizq.
