As-salamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh, dear brothers and sisters. Today, we turn to you once again with hearts full of hope, but also with concern for a family that continues to fight for the health of their little girl, Sukaina. Some time ago, we launched a fundraising campaign to help Sukaina, an 11-year-old girl with Down syndrome who, despite radiating tenderness, joy and admirable strength, is facing a very delicate medical situation due to her weakened immune system. By the grace of Allah and thanks to the generosity of everyone who contributed, we managed to raise valuable support for her family. However, during that campaign, Sukaina had to be hospitalised. Given the urgent need to cover her hospital expenses, we decided to withdraw the funds raised before reaching the original target. Her health could not wait. Today, unfortunately, we need your help once again. Sukaina’s situation remains difficult, and her family is once again facing medical expenses and financial needs that they cannot manage alone. Those of us who have children can understand how painful it must be to see a little girl suffer and, while fighting for her recovery, also have to worry about how to cover the costs of her illness. Once again, we appeal to your generosity. Every donation, no matter how small, will help to: It does not matter whether you can contribute €1, €2 or €5. What may seem like a small amount to us could mean so much to this family. If you are unable to contribute financially, we sincerely ask you to share this campaign and make du’a for Sukaina. Thanks to you, this appeal may reach someone who can help her. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Allah continues to help His servant as long as the servant helps his brother.” (Sahih Muslim) To everyone who supported the first campaign: may Allah reward you immensely. Your help reached a family that truly needed it. Today, we ask you, if you are able, to stand alongside Sukaina once again in this difficult journey. Jazakum Allahu khayran for your help, your prayers and for not leaving this family alone. How can you help Sukaina?
