بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Since 2009, the Mosque of Dos Hermanas (Dos Hermanas, Seville) has been a home of faith, learning, and support for the Muslim community. We hold Jumu‘a in Spanish and Arabic, organize Tarawih during Ramadan, provide classes for children two days a week across 4 levels (Arabic, Qur’an, and Islamic foundations), and support families during difficult times, including funeral arrangements.

Today we take a decisive step: we want to move from renting to owning our own space. This is not just a purchase. It is about securing a stable place where the community can grow without uncertainty, with sufficient and dignified space for everyone.

Why we need our own space

  • Ensure continuity for the mosque and its activities.
  • Create an appropriate space for women with privacy and comfort.
  • Promote youth activities, strengthening their identity and connection to the mosque.
  • Expand classes, workshops, and training with classrooms and multipurpose spaces.

The project

We aim to acquire a two-story building (250 m² per floor) to establish:

  • Prayer area for men.
  • Prayer area for women.
  • Classrooms for children and adults.
  • Spaces for workshops and community activities.

Financial goal

Total goal: €300,000 (includes purchase and renovations).
Purchase cost: €230,000.

Purchase agreement with the seller

  • Deposit already paid: €5,000
  • Next payment: €100,000 in April 2026
  • Remaining amount: €50,000 per year according to agreement
  • During the process: €1,000 monthly rent

Current status

€70,000 has already been raised and the deposit has been paid.

This project is not sustained by one person: it is sustained by the community. Many brothers are dedicating time and resources, traveling for fundraising, moving from city to city, speaking with families and business owners, striving so that this opportunity is not lost.

Now we need everyone to contribute according to their ability, and above all, according to their desire for success in the Hereafter. Sometimes a small amount given sincerely weighs more than a large amount without intention. What matters is to participate and not let this door of الخير pass by.
