Assalamu Alaikum,

Brothers and sisters, we are the board of directors of the Muslim Community of Palamós in Catalonia.

About a year ago, specifically in October 2022, we decided to build the first mosque in Palamós because we don't have enough space for men to pray, and we barely have space for the women's area, as well as an area to teach the men. children and children of the Muslims of Palamós our Islamic religion.

Alhamdullilah (thank god) we have been able to raise money for its construction by other means, by going to other nearby mosques, and also for the purchase of the plot where the construction of the Inshallah mosque will take place.

We only have 15 months to meet this expense.

You already know, as Muslims, the importance of mosques, since they are holy places where all Muslims gather to worship Allah, get closer to him and strengthen our faith. So the construction of a mosque is a work and action that benefits the Muslim community of each town and has a very positive impact on our society. Upon completion of the construction of the Palamós mosque, we will have a suitable and dignified place where the entire ummah can gather to carry out our prayers and religious activities. As Muslims we know the importance of participating in the construction of mosques, a wonderful opportunity to get a great reward from Allah swt.
