As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh!

In the name of Allah, the Merciful and Compassionate, the NGO Umnia is proud to launch our first campaign to build a water well.

Umnia is a non-governmental organization created by IslamicFundraising. The word Umnia in Arabic means "wish", and our goal, in sha Allah, is to make the wishes of those who need help come true, following the same IslamicFundraising values of safety and transparency.

More than 20 wells

One of our main projects is the excavation of wells. We are currently working in Tanzania and are in talks with trusted local partners to, in sha Allah, dig wells in countries like Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and others.

Why start with the construction of water wells?

Because it represents an invaluable reward. Both for ourselves and for all the people who help us, we want to leave as much "Sadaqa Yaria" in this world as possible.

It is also important to remember that our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: "

The best form of charity is to give water."
