As-Salāmu 'alaykum wa raḥmatullāh wa barakātuh,
I am writing today to ask for your support for a young widowed mother living in very difficult conditions in a rural area of Morocco.
A mother raising her daughter alone
Sadly, her husband passed away in early 2024 from cancer. A fundraising campaign had previously been organised in 2020 to support her during that difficult period.
Today, following this loss, this mother is raising her 9-year-old daughter alone. Her daughter has Rett syndrome.
Essential medical care
This rare genetic condition requires specialised medical follow-up, neurological care, physical rehabilitation sessions and costly treatments that she can no longer afford.
The situation is even more difficult because she does not have the means to meet her daughter's daily needs.
The loss of her husband and the heavy responsibility she now carries have made her situation even more vulnerable.

That is why I am launching a new fundraising campaign today to support her and help her continue providing her daughter with the care she needs.
