My name is Fàtima, the eldest daughter of the sailor Mohamed who disappeared on the Nuevo Rafael boat on July 8, 14 miles southwest of the island of Alboran.

After my father disappeared, my family fought With all its strength to ask the government to use all the human and technological means to locate the ship and recover the body of our father, concentrations, demonstrations, campaign to collect signatures, we have submitted more than 6500 signatures In the sub-delegation of the Government of Malaga, write letters to all competent bodies and also not competent in the matter, but it has been without any results.


It recently reached us a letter from Sasemar saying that they will not look for our father because the search is complex not to say that it is expensive, and they do not want to spend the money.

Without appearing the body of our father we will not have the right to anything, neither to orphanhood nor my mother to widowhood, because for them our father is a missing person, not a dead person. They do not declare him dead until 10 years have passed.


My father was the sole breadwinner in the family, we are 6 children and our mother, my family is adrift, we are abandoned, we have no income and we are in a very complicated situation.
