The difficult situation of Naima:

Naima, a 40-year-old woman with children, is facing a challenging situation in a rural village in Fes. Her husband has a precarious job that barely allows them to cover their basic needs. Tragically, Naima has had to undergo the amputation of a leg due to poorly treated diabetes, primarily due to the lack of insulin and proper medication. This surgery took place last August, and unfortunately, due to their limited access to resources, she now has a pending debt with the hospital.

Acquiring a leg prosthesis:

This debt is essential for her to continue her treatment and acquire a leg prosthesis, which would allow her to regain some mobility and improve her quality of life. The situation is even more critical because, without paying this debt, Naima will not receive medical care at the hospital. This means she will not have access to the necessary checks and treatments to regulate her blood sugar level, which could lead to serious health complications.
